Greek yoghurt topped with berries and fruits is surely a favourite healthy breakfast meal for many. However, if you are eating fat-free, flavoured yoghurt, then it is not as healthy. Contract to the name, it contains more sugar than the plain white-milk yoghurt. In simple words, it is as bad as an ice-cream for you and contains artificial sweetener which is quite addictive. Moreover, it takes longer to digest and releases the hormone cholecystokinin (CCK).
Sugary cereal:
Cereals for the breakfast is common and what’s wrong about that? Thinking the same? Well, not all the cereals are nutritional and healthy for your fitness as you assume. When you eat sugary cereals, it may make you feel energized for a while and raise glucose level, but that will not remain for longer. You will end up feeling sluggish later. The packet may claim the cereals to be ‘whole grain’ but many of them are processed ones with only a small quantity of grains.
